Do you need access to electricity or water?
No we are entirely self sufficient and do not need access to electricity or water. This flexibility means we can just set up wherever looks and works best for your event
How much does it cost to book you for an event?
Every event is different and the price will depend on a number of factors. Please contact us with your event details so that we can to provide you with an accurate quote.
We need a reasonably flat area of 3m x 4.8m but inclines on driveways are fine. Any access route to the set up location, must be wider than 1.5m. Ideally, we also need vehicle access to near(ish) the set up area, although it is easy to move our pizza ove
We typically work within a two hour radius of Sheffield but please contact us if you are outside this distance. We do not charge for trave
Are you council registered and do you have the correct food hygiene and insurance certificates?
We are fully insured with £5 million public liability insurance and we are a council registered food business with a food hygiene rating of 5 – the highest rating possible. Our pizza chefs are also level two food hygiene accredited.
Every event is unique, so we don’t have a fixed serving duration. It depends how many pizzas are ordered and how quickly they are eaten. We give a pizza a minute as a rough guide to a typical event
When do you arrive and how long does it take to set up?
We typically arrive around an hour before the serving start time but it can be as little as 30 minutes. It takes about 15 minutes for us to set up and the remaining time is to heat the oven. It then takes 15 minutes to pack up and leave. We are very experienced and will arrive and depart stealthily with minimal fuss or disruption.
Do you cater for guests with dietary requirements?
We bring dairy and lactose free cheese and gluten free pizza bases to every event we deliver. Any guest with dietary requirements just needs to let us know and we will make them a bespoke pizza. We have separate chopping boards and pizza cutters to avoid cross contaminatio
What if the weather is bad on the day of the event?
We work all 12 months of the year and are equipped and experienced to deal with the weather: whether sun, rain, wind or snow! If it does rain, we can attach an awning to our gazebo that will keep your guests dry, while collecting their pizza.
The Details
Who pays? You can hire us to cook pizzas for your guests, but unfortunately we don’t do private events where guests pay us individually.
Where do we cover? We travel to most places in Devon, depending on availability. We can also cover the Wellington/Taunton area of Somerset. Drop us a message for events outside this area and we can have a chat.
How does it work and how much does it cost?
OPTION 1: Guests choose their own individual pizzas, which are then cooked to order. £9 per guest.
OPTION 2: We serve pizzas to your guests buffet style, by the slice. The guests can still watch as we freshly prepare and cook pizzas, even calling out requests for different toppings. £8 per guest.
Is there a minimum or maximum number of guests? We can serve a minimum of 70 guests and a maximum of 300+. Feel free to email us if you have a smaller event, as we’re happy to be flexible if we can combine it with another booking.
How long do your pizzas take to cook? Once your guests order, it will take about 5 minutes to make and cook their pizzas. If lots of people order at once, they will have to wait a bit as our oven takes 4 pizzas at a time. This never seems to be an issue as there’s always plenty of entertainment at parties and weddings!
For buffets, we will constantly replenish the supply of pizzas so that your guests can enjoy the wonderful taste of freshly cooked, woodfired pizza. This is the quickest way to serve large groups and the guests love having a chat by our van.
What space do you need? We need a flat outdoor pitch roughly 3 metres by 8 metres. We have a fairly quiet generator to power our equipment, but if you’d prefer silence then we can plug into the mains if it is available.
Can you cater for a sit down meal? Unfortunately not – because our oven fits 4 pizzas at a time, it would take too long for us to serve everyone at a sit down meal. We are perfect for informal evening food in a more casual and modern style.
